About this campaign

In April 2019, Martha Geiseman was diagnosed with Stage 3 Multiple Myeloma. As a Wife, Mother, Sister, GG & Friend, Martha accepted the news with grace & determination to persevere. While Martha has quite a battle ahead, her strong faith & courage will guide her along the way. The funds raised as a result of this campaign will help offset the financial burden cancer often brings upon the patient & family. Participating in this campaign will also serve to remind Martha that "everything is possible, even the impossible" (-Mary Poppins).

About Multiple Myeloma:
Multiple Myeloma is a cancer that forms in a type of white blood cell called a plasma cell. Plasma cells help you fight infections by making antibodies that recognize & attack germs. Multiple Myeloma causes cancer cells to accumulate in the bone marrow, where they crowd out healthy blood cells.
