About this campaign

Benjamin (Ben) was born on June 24, 2013 with a severe heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). In the beginning he did well, and was able to go home with his parents. He went in for his 2nd open heart surgery on December 9th and is still in the ICU fighting every day to survive. Ben's parents have not been able to work while he has been hospitalized and fighting for his life the past 4 months. Please help support Ben and his family!

Benjamin (Ben) was born on June 24, 2013 with a severe heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). This means the left side of his heart is very underdeveloped. He also has chronic lung disease from having a nearly intact Atrial Septum at birth. He has had 5 open heart surgeries, 6 heart caths, 2 ECMO (heart/lung machine) runs, multiple strokes, seizures, blood clots, etc. He has been at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital for the majority of his life. He is fighting very hard to beat CHD and he and his family need support in this time of need! Please purchase one of these beautiful shirts to support Ben and his family during this difficult time.
