In a way Coach Gags is the reason why I got interested in the sport more than 40 years ago. He coached my cousin and good friend Denis Kanach @ Roselle Catholic.
Gags has played a large part in the development of track & field; I will wear his Bob Marley image with pride.
Gags provided me an invaluable opportunity when I graduated college. I hope this small gesture helps NJNY provide others with something similar.
