My name is Ethan Katz and I am eight years old. I love dogs. I have two dogs that are very sweet. My birthday is on May 29th. This year for my birthday I want to raise money for my favorite rescue organization- City Dogs Rescue. We rescued my dog Brooklyn from City Dogs in November. I made this shirt to sell for City Dogs.

UPDATE: Today is Ethan's 9th Birthday and he has raised (with wonderful help) over $2200, enough to save almost 10 dogs!
We have exceeded our original goal of 75 and our second goal- 150 shirts! We can continue to take orders and raise money through early June.
To date (May 14, 2014), after 5 days of fundraising, our supporters have donated enough money to save 6 dogs. Ethan's funds have already gone to pull a dog, Willie (below) from Smyth County Marion, VA.
Chi Chi was a dog brought into a kill shelter on May 24 and because she was surrendered by her owner, her time was limited. With funds from Ethan's fundraiser, CDR saved Chi Chi and she is in foster care in the D.C. area.
May (below) was saved on Ethan's birthday- May 29- from Smyth County, VA. This adorable chocolate lab is pictured here on her freedom ride!

I like to rescue dogs
When children want to help people or animals so much that they actually do something about it, I think everyone who can afford to should help them achieve their goals. Way to Go Ethan!!! I'm very proud of you!!
