I love animals and believe they should be treated humanely
I don't believe these magnificent beings which filled my dreams as a child should be rounded up to benefit ranchers. Ranchers live with floods and drought; these horses are part of the environment and should be allowed to live free.
BLM has ignored the science of the very study they wanted done and bilked the taxpayers for. They continue to scapegoat the small number of wild equines still on the range, while insisting the millions of head of livestock are not the problem.
I love horses and I hate animal cruelty.
Mustangs have given so much to us, whether it be enjoyment, so-called progress which is being used to threaten and decimate them and their habitat, and as part of our national heritage.They deserve to be protected.
