Supporting Wonderfully Made Jordan Kennedy

Jordan Rose was born perfect, or so we thought. She reached all of her milestones until about age 2.5 when we began to notice she was still rather uncoordinated and wasn't talking nearly as much as she should be. We were afraid the febrile seizure she had at 15 months had something to do with her challenges. Shortly after her 3rd birthday, we had her evaluated for delays and she received a brain MRI to rule out complications from her seizure. Unfortunately, her MRI revealed that her brain wasn't formed correctly and she had a rare structural abnormality called pachygyria, which causes coordination and speech delays as well as seizures. Jordan now receives speech, occupational and physical therapy and is making great progress! We're so proud of our girl and are hopeful her progress can continue despite her many challenges.

The funds raised by this campaign will assist our family with Jordan's ongoing therapy and medical expenses as well as the costly genetic testing she needs, which is not covered by our private insurance.
