About this campaign
By purchasing a shirt (or shirts) you will show your support for cancer awareness (purple) and childhood cancer awareness (gold), but also help a great little girl, find her cure!
The funds raised will go directly to the
Derryman family, to help with medical costs, living expenses, and all
the challenges that come with battling this terrible disease.

Reese Derryman is a smart, spunky 7 year old girl in 2nd grade. She
loves to read, play soccer and is an avid Minecrafter. She also loves
to spend time with her 4 year old brother Kade (unless he’s being
annoying, of course). Reese is strong and ready to begin her battle.
The same toughness and sometimes stubborn attitude her parents once
fought against will be her biggest advantage in beating this.
The
Derryman’s world was turned upside down when Gina discovered a lump on
Reese’s jaw in late December. After a couple weeks of seeing various
doctors in Reno with no conclusive diagnosis, Reese was sent to
Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah to see a team of
pediatric specialists. She was scheduled for an MRI and biopsy of the
lump with (from what Gina and Phil had been told in Reno) all signs
pointing toward it being benign that would be surgicallyremoved.
Following the biopsy, the Derryman's learned the devastating news the
lump appeared cancerous. They were sent home to wait the week that it
would take to get the final biopsy results.
On Friday, January
16th the call came from Utah that the doctors were 90% certain Reese has
Ewing’s Sarcoma, a type of bone cancer that will require 3 months of
chemotherapy, followed by surgery or radiation to finish off the tumor
and 6 more months of chemotherapy.
The insurance company came through, and approved for Reese to receive her treatment at Oakland Children's Hospital, instead of all the way in Salt Lake City. It is a long road ahead, and the Derryman family needs your support!
