About this campaign

Reid's friends from across the country surprised him by having "Reid Strong" shirts made to show their support for Reid in his batte against leukemia. Many family and friends asked where they can get a shirt, so we decided to make the shirts available with all proceeds benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma society's efforts to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Buy shirts by April 25th to receive them in time to wear them May 15th to celebrate #ReidStrong.

*update - we are touched by the outpouring of support. Thanks to our incredible community we reached our goal on day 1, so we are upping our goal!

Reid Levin is a writer, an actor, and a comedian. He lived in NYC until 2007, when he was diagnosed with leukemia. Since then, he's been home in Denver, Colorado, recovering from his three-and-a-half year battle with cancer (round 1) and all the many complications he suffered (you can read more on his blog at reidlevin.net).

On January 6, 2015, the eve of the 7th anniversary of Reid going into remission ("REIDMISSION"), Reid received the much-dreaded phone call instructing him to get to the ER immediately. Based on labs taken late in the day, a doctor called to report that the leukemia is back and the leukemic cells are multiplying quickly.

Reid was admitted into University of Colorado Hospital and began receiving a drug to quash the cancer cells. His bone marrow was aspirated and was found to be 90% leukemic. Although Reid will once again suffer from "chemo brain," we are confident he will retain his brilliance and sense of humor.

Many great minds are working on finding the best treatments for the best outcomes. After several working models, it was decided to hit the cancer with traditional chemotherapies, followed by a bone marrow transplant from his sister. Reid is now undergoing his 4th (and hopefully last) round of chemotherapy.

An amazing idea for a great man & family! Our family will proudly wear our shirts to support this cause in the name of Reid and Sonny Klein, Zaidy, who lost his battle with lymphoma a few years ago.

I work for ADL and am privileged to work with Reid's father, Scott. The entire Levin family is inspirational. I've fought cancer myself & join others in anticipating Reid's total remission!
