About this campaign

Funds need to be raised to help Maria Rivera and her family pay medical bills and anything else that should arise while she is going thru treatment and waiting on a liver transplant.

Maria is 47 years old, has been married for over 20 years to her loving husband and has 2 children, ages 19 and 16. Maria was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver in January 2014 and things took a turn for the worse in May of 2015. Doctors told Maria that she needs a liver transplant as soon as possible. Maria travels 4 hours each way to see doctors for her medical appointments. Medical bills and traveling expenses to her appointments have not been easy on her and her family.
