About this campaign
Every year thousands of men and women battle wildfires across the west. Every year some of these folks never return home to their families. Team Wildland Firefighter Foundation (Team WFF) is comprised of a group of wildland firefighters and members of the the community dedicated in building the relationship between those that love and recreate in the public lands that wildland firefighters protect . We do this through the activity of cycling. We are raising awareness about our mission and the mission of the Wildland Firefighter Foundation who is one of the leaders in helping injured or fallen firefighters and their families. You too can be an ambassador, purchase a shirt and help a firefighter in need.
Throughout my twenty year (Hotshot) Firefighting career I have encountered many challenging tasks, none measure up to having to pass on a Flag of Honor to a pregnant wife who just lost her husband in the line of duty. During this tragic event I have personally watched the Wildland Firefighter Foundation step in to help the family and the family of other firefighters killed in the line of duty. Team WFF's mission is to raise awareness for the Wildland Firefighter Foundation, we are dedicated in building and strengthening relationships between the Fire Service and the community through cycling and mountain biking. Wildland Firefighter
I've been a wildland firefighter for 38 years. 'Nuff said....
My son was a wild land firefighter for years. Buying one for each member of his family.
I am a Wildland firefighter.
Because we all stand together.
Both my sons are wild-land FF's. Both on a Hot Shot crew. My husband started his FF career as a wild-land FF and was on a Hot Shot Crew, now is a Chief working for a municipal Fire Dept.
A small thank you for those brave enough to choose such a tough job and to endure through exhausting and tragic times.
