Throughout life we find ourselves going through many struggles and battles. Becoming #BetterThanYesterday simply means to let go of yesterday's struggles and move forward toward today's success.

As a lost teen, wondering if I would ever overcome the struggles that were weighing me down, God, basketball and a mentor saved my life. I was able to come out of a dark season and walk toward the light.

At 17 years old I discovered, I could become better than my past. Friends, I haven't looked back sense. I know I have a great purpose while I am here on this earth. I believe others have a great purpose as well.

The more people to hear this message and live out what it means to be #BetterThanYesterday the more positive impact that can happen in this world.
