About this campaign
For 15 years Operation Migration(OM) used aircraft to guide endangered Whooping cranes on a migration route leading to survival of the species. Now that the aircraft-guided crane migrations have ended, here's your chance to support Operation Migration going forward.
Operation Migration from Audubon.orgTake a look back at Operation Migration, the program that taught captive-reared Whooping Cranes to migrate in the wild.

I've been passionate about Whooping Crane conservation since 9th grade, when wildlife conservation first became "mine" because of my science fair project that year, which was about endangered/extinct wildlife and conservation.
I've been involved with the OM project at St. Marks NWR since the Chicklets first started coming here.
We have been following OM for many years. So sad that the ultralight program has ended. However, we are sure you will continue to do great work in protecting these magnificent birds, and keeping them on the right migration track.
I appreciate the OM team and love those cranes!
It's one of the best ideas I know! Thanks for all you do!
Following the birds through Wisconsin during the fall of 2015 made memories for a lifetime.
