About this campaign
Joe was recently diagnosed with Dedifferientated Liposarcoma, which is a very rare form of soft tissue cancer. He was in and out of hospitals for over a year before he got a diagnosis, and also had two surgeries to remove large tumors, as well as visits to Mayo Clinic. As you can imagine, medical bills are outrageous for all the hospital visits, surgeries, Mayo Clinic visits, and chemotherapy. Joe is a very proud man, but I would like to ask for your show of support and respect for this man who has dedicated his life to serving your community. Thank you for your support.

Joe has served his community his entire life, starting as a junior firefighter when he was 12 years old and continuing with a 27 year firefighting career at McMahan Fire Department.
