About this campaign
To register for the 5k Fun Run/Walk purchase our t-shirt and we will save you a place on the starting line. You can chose to have your shirt shipped to your address or to Sunnyside Equestrian Center. If you chose to ship your shirt to Sunnyside, it will be available for you to pick up after December 8th.
On November 19th you can stroll, roll, sprint, jog, walk, gallop, or dance on our trails, through the fields, and around the paddocks at our beautiful Sunnyside Equestrian Center in Lincroft, NJ. Our horses will be out in the paddocks, neighing you on!.
Race starts at 9a.m. on November 19th. (Gates open at 8am to sign release form)

The course takes place on trails, through woods, fields and paddocks. Strollers are welcome, but for the safety of our horses, please leave your dogs at home.
Special People United to Ride (SPUR) located in Lincroft, NJ, is a program that brings the proven benefits of therapeutic horsemanship to our community. Through weekly riding sessions with PATH Certified instructors, supported by trained volunteers, each rider progressively acquires riding skills and measurable improvements in life skills. Working in conjunction with the Monmouth County Park System, Special People United to Ride (SPUR) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to achieve personal goals through therapeutic horsemanship. The Park System’s Sunnyside Equestrian Center provides a safe environment for students to enjoy the freedom of riding and handling a horse.
A dedicated group of individuals work together to staff the equestrian center year round. Instructors are certified by PATH International, the governing body of therapeutic horsemanship. In addition to the staff, over 100 volunteers help with programs serving more than 200 students with disabilities annually.

This is such a great program for the community and helps many youth and adults using horses to heal. The staff, instructors, trainers are skilled, sensitive, and compassionate and we love helping out. We will start volunteering soon.
