About this Virtual Run: Someone is sexually assaulted every two minutes in the United States, and more than five children die every day as a result of child abuse and neglect. Help spread awareness and raise money for a charity whose vision is a world free of sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse by participating in the Heart of Golf virtual 5k/10k/Half Marathon. Run or walk whenever and wherever you want to earn what is without a doubt, the heaviest and most complex virtual race medal we have ever produced.

I believe this is a good cause to support. I have never been a victim of domestic violence or child abuse but wish to see both eradicated.
As someone who has been a victim and known victims, I want others to get the help they need.
Trying to get Heart Healthy
I was sexually molested and abused as a child. Nobody believed my older sister when she told, so I never told anyone. Later my husband helped me work through the events. NO ONE should have to go through that.
My daughter was a victim of sexual assault. This run is in her honor.
I'm a survivor. It's not easy to say the least in overcoming sexual abuse/assult. I want others to know there is hope & life after.
