About this campaign
Did you know not all wild birds can be placed in the same cage together?
At Help Wild Birds, each outdoor aviary becomes a natural habitat specific for each species of bird it will house. These aviaries provide a safe sanctuary as the rehabbed birds learn to spread their wings and perfect their flying skills. They also learn to forage for food and feel the sun and rain. Birds that migrate must be able to see the stars at night. Time spent in an outdoor aviary is a very important part of the bird rehabilitation process.
Due to the increasing numbers and species of birds we are taking in, we desperately need a new, larger aviary built as soon as possible! Once this aviary is built it should last for years and will provide a sanctuary for rehabilitated fledgling and adult birds as they transition for release back into the wild.

Help Wild Birds is a 501(c) 3, nonprofit all-volunteer based organization dedicated to wild bird rehabilitation and educating the public on how they can help wild birds.
We are a home based rehabilitation facility with an Avian Veterinarian on call, so all proceeds go to a bird’s care, not overhead or salaries. This outdoor aviary is needed to accommodate the increasing numbers and species of birds that are rehabilitated and released each year. We rely solely on your generosity and support.
