Strike Out ALS for JOE D

My Daddy, the son, the husband, the brother, the friend, and the baseball coach…he is all of those and more. He helps you in need, he makes you smile and laugh when you are sad, he teaches you, he coaches you, and by far gives the best hugs in town. He’s the first one who jumps at the opportunity to take care of everyone, and he’s needing us all now more than ever to be there for him. Most of you know, however if you don’t…about a month ago Joe was diagnosed with ALS (find out more on ALS at http://www.alsa.org). With this disease there is no cure, only avenues to try and prolong the progression.

If you know my Dad, you know he has a game plan…

Step 1: Deanna's Protocol https://www.winningthefight.org, and other supplements that are running around $475 a month. Not covered by insurance.

Step 2: Stem cell therapy, 3 appointments, 3 months apart, $20K plus travel expenses to and from Tampa. Currently looking at June 14th for the initial visit. Not covered by insurance.

Step 3: A new drug was approved on 5/5/17 by the FDA for ALS, Radicava http://www.alsa.org/research/radicava/. Being so new there's not a lot of info on the cost, but we think it may be covered by insurance.

Many friends and family members have asked what they may do beyond prayer. I am asking for your help, any help at all for my Daddy. This will help ease the financial burden associated with these uncovered costs. No donation is too small in hopes to prolong his progression. Let’s get this fight going, and help him be the first person to beat this disease with the latest medical technology available. It would mean the world to me.
