I have dermatillomania. I want to spread the word so people don't feel ashamed and embarrassed to seek help.
I have trichotillomania.
I have trichotillomania, TLC has helped me a lot with educating myself about my bfrb, and I am actively trying to raise awareness among people in my own life.
I have struggled with this since 8th grade. I am now going on 26. I felt so alone and weird until I found TLC's website. I want others to know what I know now. We are in this together.
BFRBs can cause its sufferers to feel so many negative emotions (isolation, shame, embarrassment, depression, anxiety, anger, and so many others). If you suffer from a BFRB, you are NOT alone!
Because I have suffered with BFRB’s for 30 years, & some people have been ignorant & cruel to me. So, if I can educate one person, by wearing this t-shirt, it would be fantastic!!! :)
I have been dealing with trichotillomania since I was about 10 years old. Only within the past year or two(I'm 25) have I really accepted myself with this condition. I have spent many years feeling ashamed and isolated. However, not anymore!
I have trichotillomania.
