About this campaign
Matt and I spend a lot of time working on our web site, especially during extreme weather events like Hurricane Harvey, and it costs money to ensure Space City Weather remains online during heavy traffic. This is your chance to show your appreciation for our efforts.
For our t-shirt we decided to have a little fun with the fact that, three hours before game time, we successfully predicted (via a tweet) the game seven score of the World Series. We chose 5-1 at the time because of Hurricane Harvey's widely reported total of 51 inches of rainfall. It proved to be one of our best forecasts.
If you'd prefer just to donate money, you may do that as well.

I was unable to get home to the Woodlands during Harvey as I was in Vermont helping my sister. It was very reassuring to have a real forecast as the news seemed very hyped up and tending towards doom and gloom. “Just the facts” was appreciated.
We were in the mountains of NM when it became evident that the storm damage to Houston was going to be brutal. While I'm certainly glad that we were well out of harm's way, I'm also grateful that Matt and Eric were giving regular, no-BS updates!
I appreciate how your weather reports are accurate, no-hype and so useful. They kept me going during hurricane Harvey and I enjoy them all year.
For keeping me from going insane during Harvey by providing the best Facts-Only-No-Hype weather news.
The Chronicle introduced me to The Science Guy years ago where I learned something about weather. Harvey was the decider. I knew my boarding pass for IAH, printed in Europe, would not be good when I landed in Newark. Panic avoided. THANKS!
Keep up the good work.
I enjoy the reliable forecasts and interesting weather information.
I love the lack of hype and catastrophizing. I love the in-depth information provided, and the special reports. And I love the overall tone the guys take in giving us the weather lowdown.
