Help DRC continue to provide veterinary care and safe haven for doodles in need in our rescue program, while celebrating the peace, love and joy Doodles bring to our lives every day…. Introducing our latest, custom, limited edition, "DOODLES ARE MY ZEN" design from our DOODLE "ZENWEAR" COLLECTION.

WHY DOODLES ARE OUR ZEN
As humans, our life teachers come in all shapes and sizes, and sometimes they come with four legs and fur….or fleece…. or wool.... Doodle lovers and those of us who rescue and/or share our lives with these incredible little beings, will tell you that Doodles can be phenomenal spiritual teachers if we stop long enough to recognize their gentle wisdom..... They teach us about kindness, gratitude, love and compassion; about being present in the moment... about patience, forgiveness and joyfulness.... Some, even after experiencing the pain of loss, abuse, abandonment and tremendous suffering at the hands of humans.

Doodles and dogs in general teach us lessons every day. By just being the enlightened little buddhas and bodhisattvas that they are, Doodles transcend the purest of zen qualities. For those of us devoted to these dogs and to rescue, their very "doodliness" is pure, true "Buddha-nature." ....

Is it any wonder that dog is “God” spelled backward?

DRC's "DOODLE ZEN-WEAR" is not only wearable art, it will gently remind us and all, of the power Doodles and all companion animals have to enrich our lives and make us happier, healthier, calmer, kinder, more compassionate, mindful, loving and enlightened beings.
