About this campaign
Hall High Girls in STEM Club is running this fundraiser to connect our club to the global women in STEM population and to improve our club. Half of all profits will be used for our club to hire speakers, bring STEM lessons to elementary schools, and serve the community in many more ways. In addition, 50% of profits earned will be donated to the Association for Women in Science (AWIS). AWIS "advocates for policy change at the local and national level to ensure fair pay and work climate" in STEM careers.(www.awis.org). In addition, they offer leadership development training for women and research to eliminate barriers so that more women can enter STEM fields. Please see www.awis.org for more information.

STEM careers need more women and this club does a wonderful job of promoting the cause with great guest speakers.
I'm always glad to support projects that encourage women and girls to break barriers and succeed in following their dreams. Involving more women in STEM just seems like a good thing for all creatures on this planet.
I love STEM, and hope that someday women will be equally represented in all of the STEM fields!!!
