Purchase now and wear it to support Dan at the upcoming benefit Sept. 16, 2018 at Gaelic Park in Oak Forest.
Dan was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in October 2017. Being true to himself, he wanted to treat it aggressively. Mid-January Dan received some great news that his cancer levels were back in normal range. However, January 26th Dan went to the ER for a fever. Later that night he was admitted into the ICU at Silver Cross for a severe case of pneumonia. Throughout that weekend, Dan had experienced multiple strokes, two surgeries, and sepsis. As a result, Dan experiences a double amputation of his legs. From there, Dan went to RML for sub acute rehab where he worked to breathe on his own, eat and drink on his own, and started therapy. After three weeks, Dan went back to Silver Cross for acute rehab. His hard work and determination there lead him home. Once he was at home Dan was able to start his cancer treatment again. He is facing all the new challenges at home with determination and hard work.
