Truth Matters ***VOTE***

We have heard it said repeatedly in recent months: “This is the most important election of our lives.” While that might seem to be hyperbole, if we look at what the current administration and Congress are doing, it is clearly true. From attacks on the media to claims of a “deepstate” to outright lies, we are seeing Truth and Democracy being threatened. Therefore, we felt it was important to bring together as many of the liberal, progressive, ethical, truthful candidates in Florida and build an army to bring them in to office. On October 6th at Bayfront Park in Sarasota, we will hold the rally “Vote For Our Lives!” The sale of this new t-shirt will help bring in funds that we can use in the final push to election day in November.

Our hope is that the t-shirts will appeal to more than just people attending the rally. We know that many of our members are still up north and we also know that there are concerned, passionate resistors across the country for whom this election is every bit as important as it is to us on the Suncoast. Therefore, we encourage snowbirds to buy a t-shirt or sweatshirt (for you in northern climes!) and wear it solidarity on October 6th. We also know that many of you have other like-minded groups to which you belong. So, share this campaign far and wide and let’s cover the country with Truth Matters Vote t-shirts.

All funds raised will be paid directly to Action Together Suncoast (an Indivisible group) as we work to elect competent, progressive, ethical people to local, state, and federal positions. As we declared back in early 2017, Truth Matters. It still matters today and is under constant attack. We must make our voices heard through our votes. The urgency is real. We are truly voting for our lives!
