About this campaign

Aiden McWhorter was recently diagnosed with Neuroblastoma at the age of one. After going to see his pediatrician for a wellness checkup, the doctor referred Aiden for an MRI after noticing some abnormal swelling in his eye. The MRI indicated a fluid type mass in Aiden’s head, as well as a tumor in his stomach. The mass was able to be surgically removed from his stomach, and was sent to pathology for further testing. Doctors also discovered at this time that Aiden’s retina had detached in his right eye causing blindness in his right eye. After a MIBG scan, Aiden was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk Neuroblastoma on February 15th, 2019. Medical expenses are going to be costly for his treatment, in addition to Sarah taking a leave of absence from work to care for Aiden while he is immunosuppressed and not daycare eligible. Any and all donations to relieve the financial burden off of Logan and Sarah are most appreciated. The McWhorter’s appreciate your prayers, love, and support during this especially trying time.
