About this campaign

The proceeds of this fundraiser will be directed to advocacy work in providing a platform for refugees to share their stories and bring awareness about the refugee crisis around the world to Baton Rouge residents.

Louisiana Organization for Refugees and Immigrants (LORI) is a non-profit 501©3 organization founded by refugees and immigrants alike in 2016 to address the service gaps for refugee and immigrant communities in Baton Rouge. Our primary mission is to assist refugees and immigrants throughout their various stages of integration in Louisiana enabling them to become self-reliant. We achieve this by creating a diverse and inclusive space for refugees and immigrant by increasing community awareness of issues affecting refugees and immigrant communities to the general public through advocacy and active participation in community development.
