About this campaign
After 250+ days the IRS has determined the Carolina Waterman, Inc. in Myrtle Beach, SC to be a 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt Organization! This determination validates our organization and provides the foundation necessary to focus solely on our mission of "Connecting People With Water".
We are a small organization located in the City of Myrtle Beach, SC. Our City is surrounded by navigable waters, technically making this an island. With our community being one of the fastest growing in the nation, it is imperative to connect our residents and visitors alike with our local public waters & teach them to safely and responsibly enjoy those waters!
We provide a number of programs designed to "Connect People With Water". For example: Our Community Service Program provides free opportunities for local youth to complete documented community service hours while helping us collect the litter surrounding our waterways! Or our Family Surf Lessons which gives families the opportunity to connect not only with our stretch of the Atlantic Ocean, but also with each other.
