Damien Katsirubas for Sterling Supervisor

Boy does time go by fast! It feels like only yesterday I was collecting signatures to get on the ballot this November, and now begins the unavoidable business of raising funds. Just to give a little background on my foray into the political arena:

-- I am a GMU graduate who earned both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Economics. The school has one of the best economics programs in the country and boast two Nobel Prize winning professors. The time I spent at Mason was invaluable, and my studies gave a whole new dimension to my reverence for individual liberty and the special rights we all share as Americans.
-- My mentor in college was professor Dr. Thomas C. Rustici. He is a brilliant professor, and we used to have long conversations after class discussing topics like classical economics, political science, history, and philosophy. We reconnected in 2015, and he invited me to join him in assisting Dr. Ben Carson in his presidential campaign. At the time, Dr. Rustici was serving as Carson's Senior Economic Advisor, and in turn he extended an opportunity to me to serve as a Junior Economic Advisor.
-- Fast forward to 2019, and now I am pursuing my own political aspirations. I look forward to serving the Sterling district on the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors and using my experiences to deliver results for our community.
