About this campaign
After 3 years of many doctor appointments and many tests, in August Melissa (Munch) Becker's daughter, Addy Boggs, was diagnosed with Batten Disease CLN3. Batten Disease is a very rare genetic disease, many symptoms are associated with this, the first of them being vision loss, which Addy is already experiencing. Hope for Addy!
Addy is 7 years old and currently in 2nd grade. She loves to dance and sing and do anything creative. She is an amazing artist who doesn't let her limitations slow her down. Addy is a sweet, kind hearted, little girl who loves her family and friends and cares about everyone around her.
Addy has quite the fight ahead of her. They will be traveling to different states for medical testing and hopefully get into a genetic therapy trial that could help slow the progression of the disease.
