Little Bo Peep is a 3-4 year old dachshund mix who came into Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas in September pregnant and near delivery.
On 9/27/2019, Peep gave birth to 4 puppies! They are tiny and adorable. Shortly after Peep gave birth, she became very sick and had to be separated from her puppies. We have been hand-raising her puppies with bottle feeding every 2 hours and while we've run into some difficulties with gaining weight, it looks like we've turned the corner and everyone is doing well! Peep is in a medical foster home receiving the best care possible to help her get better.

I love Diamond Dachshund Rescue and foster Mom Lillie and the loving work they do caring for at risk pregnant dachshunds, taking care of the Mom and the babies physically, emotionally and medically up until they get their forever home.
I am a big supporter of rescues and I have been following Lillie Kneeland and Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas for about 6 months now and love what they do for these dogs.
