Mayel is a 21 year old college student. He was diagnosed with cancer a few weeks back and is in need of a Bone Marrow Transplant after his chemotherapy. However, because he is a DACA recipient, he is not eligible to receive any assistance through a foundation or insurance. As of right now, his only game plan is to survive as long as he can with chemo. His cancer is called Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm or BPDCN. "I just want to be able to go back to college and be back on campus with the goal to graduate college. I want to start working again to help my mom pay rent.
