About this campaign
All proceeds from the sale of these items will be going directly to the Bernard-Ellicott family to help with any additional expenses that may and most likely will arise outside of what their insurance will cover.
Just before Thanksgiving, our Warriors friend and teammate Andrew Ellicott was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). He is currently at Children’s Hospital in Washington, DC undergoing treatment. Fortunately, Drew is in the care of some of the best doctors in the world. Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean this fight will be an easy one.
Drew has been part of the Wells family for many years, starting out in the Give-It-A-Shot class and as a member of the Warriors 8U and 10U teams for the last few years. You may know him from his long, often wildly-colored hair but if you’ve never talked to him, you may not know that he’s also a wonderful young man, teammate, friend, and son. Right now, he needs the love and support of his hockey family to help win his battle. I know we can and will help.
