Elliot Has Something to Get Off His Chest - Top Surgery Fundraiser

Our son Elliot is an incredible human; he loves art, has impeccable comedic timing and the most tenacious and loving heart. Elliot needs gender confirmation surgery (top surgery) to help him feel more comfortable in his body and treat his gender dysphoria. Surgery is scheduled for June 2020, and it is expensive.

We will file appeals and fight to make our insurance company understand the critical importance of this surgery for Elliot's overall wellbeing. However, even if insurance covers some of the surgery, we will have additional out of pocket expenses. Some of the larger expenses include travel to and from Denver, a hotel or Airbnb for the week after surgery, and a trip back to Denver eight weeks post-op to follow up.
