WE NEED YOUR HELP TO GIVE BASS LIFESAVING SURGERY!
Bass was a normal happy energetic boy until one day he was lethargic and neurological. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with an operable liver shunt. On October 24th we attempted to have the shunt clamped but poor Bass coded on the table. He was brought back and surgery was stopped. Since then he recovered well, had a cardiac workup, and a new anesthesia protocol planned. We consulted with his doctors and decided to allow him more time to mature and attempt surgery again after he turned 10 months. Surgery is now scheduled for February 27th. His last fundraiser raised enough to cover the cost of his attempted liver shunt clamp surgery and cardiac workup which leaves us at square one to raise the $5500 to $6000 needed to give this boy a fighting chance at a normal life. Snickers needs life-saving heart surgery called a balloon valvuloplasty!
Snickers will have heart surgery in the next month or two (waiting for definite schedule date) which will run $5000 to $6000. His condition remains the same, severe pulmonic stenosis. To give you an idea, 80 pressure is considered severe and he is 150! We are putting our heads together and will do what we must to give this boy a future.

We can't comment enough at how perfect Snickers is! He pees on pee pads on command, gives tons of kisses, and is one smart loveable boy! His heart may not be perfect but the love he gives sure is!










We are a Nonprofit Animal Rescue organization with big purpose!! Our team is dedicated to rescuing Pomeranians and other small breed dogs. We nurture their minds, bodies, and souls until the perfect, furever home is found for each and every one. We do this simply for the love of the breed. We are 100% volunteer based and receive no funding from the government. All of our dogs are placed in loving foster homes...we do not maintain a shelter environment.

Pawsitively Pom Rescue goes above and beyond for each and every animal in our care. In fact, we are known for the quality of care we provide. We do not use low-cost clinics and are often visiting veterinary specialists hours away from our homes. All of our dogs can be followed on our Facebook page from the moment they come into our care until the day they are adopted...and often afterwards.
