About this campaign

Our daughter Hadlee Mae was born in October 2017 with a rare heart condition known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, or HLHS for short. She was recommended for the Norwood Procedure, a 3-surgery process to shut off the left side of her heart and route everything to function through the right side. To date, Hadlee has had 2 of these 3 heart surgeries, but unfortunately is unable to have the final surgery as her heart function is gradually continuing to fail. It was determined by a team of doctors and surgeons at Children's Hospital that the best way to ensure the highest quality of life for Hadlee would be to proceed with a full heart transplant. She is currently listed on the national registry as a high priority candidate and staying in Children's until we receive news of a donor.

Funds raised from #HADLEESTRONG purchases will do two things:

1) Help our family with medical related expenses from the transplant process.
2) Support the American Heart Association as we will donate $1 from every puchase to team "Hope Floats", my wife's Heart Mini Team in St. Elizabeth Florence who is walking for Hadlee.
