COVID-19 Protect the Frontlines

These are trying times for everyone around the globe. Healthcare is being pushed past its limit and the US isn’t far from facing the worst. In times like these we look to protecting our friends and our families. Many of us feel lost and anxious about the times ahead. As an artist, Taryn Smith’s mission is to foster connections and bring joy back to people. While now might not be time for making joy, it is certainly one for coming together so making a difference can give meaning and purpose during uncertain times.

Groups most at risk are healthcare workers and their families who don’t have the luxury of self quarantining. They are being tasked with protecting our country. Seniors or those with serious health conditions rely on us all to keep them safe. And lastly, the families who struggle to make ends meet day to day are tried with the economic burden of this pandemic. Young kids who rely on school to provide meals are going hungry.

COVID-19 is pushing us to come together in ways thought impossible in the state of our world. It is a call to action to use this momentum to bring real changes to the way we support each other in our communities. To start, this fundraiser will donate 100% of proceeds to the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 relief fund dedicated to serving healthcare workers and research for the virus and Feeding America to help support the many American’s going hungry.
