About this campaign
You amazing craftivists have sewed nearly 30,000 masks, and you asked for t-shirts to celebrate how we have stitched ourselves together as a community. So now, we have t-shirts! Also, this is a fundraiser and several dollars from each shirt will pay to make several more face masks. Thank you for supporting this effort!
We are part of a national collection action in response to the pandemic of COVID-19. There are now thousands of us who are sewing face masks to donate to front line health care providers, first responders, and others.
Our action is quite simply a show of love and gratitude for those who are taking the greatest risks right now. For all of us. They are the true heroes.
Our action is a way to connect people and spread hope.
Our action is also practical support, and the provision of a tool that is durable and reusable, that can be used in an emergency situation when there is no other alternative.
Our action is about flattening the curve. We fully support the CDC recommendation that all Americans wear face masks during any necessary daily trips.
The face mask will ultimately be the symbol of these times.

I have many elderly family members with medical issues and many friends who work in the medical field. I have tons of fabric (quilter) and thought this would be a good use of my time during this quarantine period.
