About this campaign
Show your love of the Louisville Zoo with this exclusive new shirt that features a few of our animal ambassadors. We all may be apart during this difficult time, but we are all a part of the Louisville Zoo Family.
All t-shirt proceeds go directly towards the daily care and enrichment of over 1,200 animals that call your Zoo home. As the State Zoo of Kentucky, we’ve also earmarked $1.00 of every shirt sold to go to The Team Kentucky Fund and $1.00 to support the One Louisville: COVID-19 Response Fund. We’re grateful for all our friends and members like you who are helping us meet these immediate needs during this challenging time.
T-shirts are available in 3 styles: unisex short sleeve (which includes children’s sizes), women’s short sleeve t-shirt and tank top. Please see the item descriptions for more information on size/fit of each shirt.

Fitz and Mikki – 9 month old Fitz and his mother Mikki are African elephants. They share the Zoo’s elephant exhibit with Asian elephant Punch. Miss seeing Fitz run around the yard? We miss that too! He’s still running around the yard and growing up so fast! He has gained almost 400 pounds since he was born on last August. That’s one big baby!
Kindi – The Zoo has 10 Western lowland gorillas including 4 year old Kindi and 62 year old Helen. Living in Gorilla Forest, the Zoo’s gorilla groups have missed you being with them at the Zoo. Like our director John Walczak has said, the animals see our guests as part of their daily lives and enrichment. Especially Kindi as she loves to “play” with other kids her age!
Sunni - Soon you will be able to welcome the newest members of the Zoo family, sloths Sunni and Sebastian to your Zoo! We plan to have their new exhibit open soon and guests will even have the opportunity to buy a behind the scenes experience with them. Hang in there everyone! #weareLOUZOO #LouZootogether
