We are thankful to you for supporting Little Wanderers NYC, as we work to provide emergency rescue, comprehensive medical exams, and resources for the communities we support in this time of crisis. As the financial impacts of COVID-19 take root, we anticipate a sharp increase in animal abandonment in our neighborhoods, thus an increase in the immediate need to rescue vulnerable cats from the streets. We are already experiencing an increase in demand for our community-based programs, and we will continue to work tirelessly to rescue and save as many lives as we can.

Before the COVID-19 pandemic we, the all volunteer team at LWNYC, were excited to launch our new official logo this spring. We have been working with Tim Sinclair, our very talented and cat-loving graphic artist, to freshen up and modernize our logo. We are beyond thrilled with the end result, and we hope that you are too.

**Little Wanderers NYC is a nonprofit organization 501(c) (3) rescuing/TNR'-ing the neediest cats in the toughest areas of NYC. We are at capacity with 180 cats in our care looking for homes. We respond to an average of 25 urgent rescue requests per day, and we care for 200 feral cats daily. Many of the cats rescued by Little Wanderers are sick and injured and require urgent and emergency vetting which is costly, considering the high volume of rescues we take into our care. Weekly, Little Wanderers rescues 8-10 sick and injured cats from the most underserved areas in NYC.
