About this campaign

In light of recent events and our own personal organizational vision, March for Our Lives Houston is determined to support the Black Lives Matter movement. Therefore, 50% of all proceeds made through this fundraiser will be donated to Black Lives Matter Houston.

What is March for Our Lives Houston?
March for Our Lives Houston is a local student-run nonprofit chapter of March for Our Lives that began when around 18 thousand Texans took to the streets of Downtown Houston to kick off a movement that would last beyond the news cycle. Gun violence takes many forms, which is why it will take the courage and action of many Houstonians to ensure that the necessary reforms be implemented to save lives without forgetting those we couldn’t. These reforms will respect the “responsible gun owners” that exist throughout the armed community because emphasizing responsibility will be more effective than punishment would. Now more than ever, it is imperative to continue the fight against gun violence through meaningful dialogue both on the local and national level.

MFOL Houston aims to transform the city by identifying and addressing the root causes of gun violence through just and equitable means that allow accountability and freedom to coexist.
