Save our Rehearsal Space

The threat of Coronavirus has been felt the world around - and the theatre communities have been hit hard. Many professional companies have been forced to suspend their seasons, to close their doors, and wait in limbo for the moment we can be together once more.

Liberty Junction Theatre Inc. is no different. We have had to close the doors to our physical space, and completely redesign our programming as we shift to an online platform. Unfortunately, unlike many professional companies, we do not own our own space - meaning that as we shift to make way for the new times, some incidentals and also large bills are looming over our heads. As a company that strives to create a sense of community, inclusiveness, support, and love - we are always reaching out to help our families and surrounding community.

Now, we need YOUR help.

We want to save our rehearsal space. We want to ensure that we have a rehearsal space in which our students and theatre family can reunite when all of this is over. We want to maintain our safe haven for many of our kids. And just as our theatre productions can only function with the help of many hands - we now find ourselves in a position of calling upon those hands, those volunteers, those families and hearts that make up our beautiful theatre community.

The harsh reality is that our current staff is over their hours because they love our kids, our rehearsal space requires cleaning, maintenance, and rent fees paid, and nobody expected our social distancing to last this long... we may have to close the doors to LJT in the near future without support like yours.

Because we are a theatre community, we absolutely could not let you donate without giving you a polished, finished product - complete with jazz hands if you'd like. We've partnered here with Custom Ink to create a one of a kind t-shirt for students, families, friends, and more to help us reach our fundraising goals and keep our space open for the foreseeable future.
