Dragon Reimagined

2020 started on a high note: Our 20th anniversary. The first season programmed by Co-Artistic Directors Max and Alika Koknar. Ambitious plays. A subscription series of Circus Arts. We planned to open our house to urban artists, solo performers, playwrights, comedians, magicians.... And then. Well, you know what happened. The reality of SIP settled in. We swung into action, moving theatre classes online, creating community building events on facebook - Drinking With The Dragon, anyone? - and steaming on twitch.tv and vimeo.com. Dragon’s mission is to serve as a theatrical hub that fosters an inclusive artistic community for the creation of experiences that are innovative, intimate, empathetic, accessible and bold. We are also resilient and determined to reimagine Dragon.
