This about Solidarity.
Transracial Adoptees (children adopted outside their race) share a common bond that transcends race. When NZ artist, Gabby Malpas, a Chinese TRA, saw the news of the most recent unrest in the United States, she felt she had to do something to help. She reached out to three US Black TRAs who all come from different adoption backgrounds and donated this artwork to whatever cause they wanted. One of the ways we are sharing this amazing art and story with world is with this t-shirt.
The funds will be used to help the three black Black TRA’s supplement their family’s income that has been lost because of Covid19 and help grow their businesses.
It’s a shirt to wear at marches and protests to let everyone know you stand in solidarity with Black Lives and especially Black transracial adoptees.
