To emphasize the importance of immunizations for a healthy start and throughout our lives – and to make sure children are protected with all the vaccines they need – our family is joining with healthcare partners nationwide in recognizing the importance of Immunizations in a time when we are seeing vaccine-preventable diseases begin to re-emerge due to an anti-vaccination movement.

Proceeds from our T-Shirt sales will be donated to the Jake Thomas Freeman Memorial Fund. Jake's mother is a Physician Assistant at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and is a major advocate for vaccinations. She and her husband believe their son would want to protect other vulnerable children from these preventable diseases.

Jake Freeman is the twin of his surviving brother Brady. Jake died 31 hours after birth due to severe Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE). HIE is a brain injury caused by oxygen deprivation to the brain. It can occur in utero, during the birthing process or in the neonatal period. It is a leading cause of death and severe disability among infants.
