About this campaign

The original plan of holding a fun run/walk event at the Annual AVAHO Meeting, in support of a local Veteran's service organization, was changed when the Annual Meeting became virtual. Although we cannot physically move together as members, we can share our support and sweat through social media. So move where you are and share your photos of you-in-action with #letsmoveforveterans.

AVAHO is a 501(c)3 non profit organization dedicated to supporting hematology/oncology professionals who care for our nation's Veterans. Our mission is to advocate and provide leadership in delivering quality, comprehensive care to Veterans diagnosed with cancer or blood disorders. We strive to reach our goals through education, networking and promotion of research among our members.
