About this campaign

Out of concern for the health & safety of our church family and our wonderful patrons, Holy Transfiguration has made the decision to cancel the 2020 Middle Eastern Food Festival scheduled for Labor Day weekend. We've created a "virtual" festival online at www.middleeasternfoodfestival.com that we invite you to visit, which features pictures of our favorite memories, recipes, music, and a virtual church tour. We've also designed a fun t-shirt that we hope you'll consider purchasing to support the church. Thanks for your consideration. We look forward to seeing you in 2021!

Holy Transfiguration Church's Middle Eastern Food Festival is legendary. Held in McLean every Labor Day weekend for the past 26 years, the festival features authentic Middle Eastern food, pastries, music and dancing, as well as vendors, church tours, and activities for both children and adults. It also is our top fundraiser of the year. Proceeds benefit our yearly operations, religious education and a variety of charitable endeavors. We're sorry that we won't see you in person this year but certainly hope to see you next year! In the meantime, if you'd like to support our church, please consider purchasing a "Spread Hummus Not Hate" t-shirt. They're available for $20 in men's and women's. Thank you for your consideration!
