The health of Biscayne Bay is threatened
Biscayne Bay generates billions of dollars annually, fueling an active water-based economy of real estate, boating, fishing sailing and more. The bay is home to over a dozen threatened and endangered species of wildlife and plants.
Fish kills and algae blooms are occurring across Biscayne Bay. This is not a normal occurrence, but rather a sign that the ecosystem of Biscayne Bay is seriously out of balance.
You can help save the bay today! Join Compass Florida in raising funds to support saving the bay.
All proceeds from the manatee shirt sale will be donated to Miami Waterkeeper.
Recently, a massive fish kill and algae bloom event served as a clear indicator that Biscayne Bay needs our help and we must band together as a community to ensure the health of our Bay improves.
You can help Save the bay! We're raising funds through to support Miami Waterkeeper in their efforts to save the bay. All proceeds from the sales of manatee shirts will be donated.
Miami Waterkeeper ensures swimmable, fishable, and drinkable water for all. MWK core issues include sea-level rise, clean water, and ecosystem protection. A unique three-pronged approach using public outreach and education, science and research, and policy action and legal advocacy contribute to many of Miami Waterkeeper’s water wins over the last 10 years.
