About this campaign
Mary is 4.5 years old and was diagnosed with DIPG in October 2020. DIPG is a rare form of Brain cancer that infects the pons area of the brain and currently uncurable. She completed 30 weeks of radiation in 2020 and is currently getting ready to start a medical trial. This fundraiser will provide some aid on the mounting medical and life expenses- especially with travel for treatment coming- but it is also our hope that it will help bring awareness to more people and bring more support to all kids who suffer. Currently Federal funding for DIPG medical studies equates to $500 a year per kid that suffers each year- which is why treatments are so limited.
This shirt is designed and approved by Mary! Grey is the color of brain cancer and yellow is childhood cancer. Mary loves Princesses- her make a wish is to go to Disneyworld to see Cinderella's Castle (if covid opens up more) and has been a super hero of the hospital so far!
