About this campaign
The Grumman Owners and Pilots Association (GOPA) Scholarship Fund, formerly known as (AKA) the (American Yankee Association) supports youth in aviation. It provides scholarships in the USA and Internationally up to $2500USD for students age 16-22 who are studying for their Private Pilot’s License/Certificate. It is supported by GOPA members and corporate friends and since 2003 they have provided over $93,000 to help more than 50 young aviators take flight.

Took my first lesson in a Yankee. Always have liked the aircraft, and happy to support youth in aviation.
I have heard many stories from our Scholarship winners on how important it was to them to have the support and funds of the GOPA Scholarship to help them through "some tough times!!"
