The Philadelphia Fire Department Foundation is proud to make this limited edition tee shirt available to recognize the sesquicentennial of the Philadelphia Fire Department! For 150 years the PFD has been responding to the emergency needs of the citizens and visitors of Philadelphia.
Proceeds from the purchase of these tees benefit the Foundation.
These tee shirts (short and long sleeve) are approved for wear by members of the Philadelphia Fire Department until March 15, 2022.

The Philadelphia Fire Department was founded on March 15, 1871. The late 19th century saw tremendous growth of both population and industry in the city and this, in turn, saw an increase demand for firefighting services that the fractured system of volunteer fire companies could no longer keep pace with. Since that time the Philadelphia Fire Department has become a preeminent provider of fire suppression, prevention, rescue, Haz-Mat and Emergency Medial Services.
