About this campaign
The Janet Hicks Scholarship is given to a Special Dance Senior who will be majoring in dance, or pursuing another art form in college. This scholarship is named after the founder of Special Dance Company, who started this program in 1971. She had an immense love for dance and we can now help those with the same passion pursue their artistry with this scholarship.

Special Dance Company is Columbia High School's very own dance company. We meet for two periods everyday and each year we put on a student-choreographed show. Our artistic director, Kandice Point-Du-Jour helps us put together our show every year, and this is our 50th!! Please support this growing program by purchasing one of our limited edition shirts designed by company members Haley Lowenthal and Ciel Ben-Adi.
